Music fans around Australia are collectively kicking themselves for leaving their triple j Hottest 100 votes to the last minute. The voting portal has officially melted down and no votes are going through.
Speaking recently to The Northern Star, triple j Content Director Ollie Wards mentioned how the last day of voting is “traditionally the biggest, though we encourage people to get them in early so it’s not stressful!”
Sounds like that warning fell on deaf ears because the world is imploding for frustrated triple j listeners who are trying to vote for Drake’s ‘Hotline Bling’ 10 times, but are instead being greeted with a dreaded 404.
triple j have not yet made a comment on the website outage, but considering they’ve made it a point to remind everybody that voting closes at midday today, you can forgive them if their official line is a simple, “We told you so.”
/finally presses submit on hottest 100 voting /website down
