Shocking footage has surfaced of a Good Life Festival punters kicking a security guard in the head as he scrambles on the ground in an attempt to restrain another punter. The incident occurred on Saturday during the under-age event’s Perth leg at Claremont Showgrounds.

The clip, uploaded to the Most Wanted Lads Facebook page, shows an unidentified security guard attempting to restrain a young punter, unaware of another young man in a white T-shirt who quickly creeps up behind and boots him in the head to the shock of other punters on the scene.

Good Life organisers have since released a statement addressing the incident. “The safety of Good Life attendees and staff is our highest priority. Promoters do not condone violence of any kind, and take these issues extremely seriously,” they write.

“Following the incident on site, the security guard in question was immediately attended to by medical teams and taken to hospital by an on-site ambulance for assessment. He was discharged a few hours later. Good Life promoters will continue to monitor his well-being.”

“The incident is being investigated by the Police,” organisers write, before detailing some of the security measures in place at the festival including 130 x licenced security personnel and an Event Safety officer, as well as a CCTV monitoring station.
