Last week, Violent Soho put the call out to any Melbourne fans who’d be interested in appearing in their upcoming new music video, which let’s be real for a second, would be pretty much all of their Melbourne fans.

Unfortunately, as the band stated in their callout, places were very limited, so only a lucky select few were actually chosen to appear in the clip, but those that were couldn’t help but take a few snaps on the day.

After casting their votes in Saturday’s election (or, y’know, not), a bunch of Soho fans made their way to a warehouse in “the Fitzroy/Collingwood area” to headbang away as the band played through the latest single to be taken from WACO.

As one fan put it on Instagram, “Neck’s so sore.” The effort was certainly appreciated by the band, who took to Facebook to thanks all the extras, writing, “Thanks to all the legends who came out to our video shoot on Saturday. Coming soon!!”

The band only recently unveiled their latest music video, immortalising WACO‘s ‘So Sentimental’ with 8mm-style footage of the band cruising through the country on a road trip, enjoying some brews, and hanging out on some train tracks.

Makin another movie today with @mattweston666 and a bunch of legends who already voted.
