Groovin The Moo, Australia’s favourite regional touring festival, has announced its triumphant return for the new year. Kicking off next April, Groovin The Moo 2017 will be stomping through six regional centres, including our nation’s capital.

“We’re thrilled with the tour schedule for 2017,” said promoter Steve Halpin. “Starting out in Oakbank on the Friday, 28th April means South Australians get to enjoy a Moo Weekender.”

“We can also continue to deliver a diverse line up to all GTM events, avoiding scheduling clashes with other international festivals.”

“Not only does this give a number of amazing Australian artists the opportunity to play GTM AND be billed on international festivals, it also allows us to bring some great talent from overseas.”

Friends in Oakbank will get the Moo on Friday, 28th April, followed by Maitland and Townsville on Saturday, 29th and Sunday, 30th April respectively. Bendigo will follow on Saturday, 6th May, before Canberra Moos on Sunday, 7th May and Bunbury closes the whole thing out on Saturday, 13th May.

If you’re a particularly eager Moo-er, organisers have announced a very limited Christmas ticket pre-sale launching 9am Thursday, 1st December. Otherwise, make sure you stay tuned for more ticketing details and the lineup announcement.
