Whilst the temptation to order $30 worth of Thai food directly to your door is almost irresistible, sometimes it’s necessary to leave the house and engage with the outside world. We know that coming up with fresh date ideas can be a chore, so we’ve done it for you. Here are 5 fantastic rock’n’roll date ideas.

Karaoke at Frankie’s Pizza

Frankie’s Pizza by the Slice

Karaoke is ALWAYS fun, period. But there comes a point in your life where you simply can not stand to listen to another slack-jawed yokel butcher ‘Khe Sanh’ after losing their savings on the pokies. Frankie’s Pizza have your back. Sydney’s rock’n’roll institution host a karaoke night every Tuesday night. The in-house band The Boner Contention Band is there to provide punters with a “no bullshit rock show”.

Is there any better first date impression you can make then to absolutely brutalize a Black Sabbath song? We think not. The party kicks off at 9pm, but make sure you’re there at least 30 minutes in advance to avoid missing out!
