Just when you thought the internet was already wholesome enough, some unknown memester has gone and made quite the countdown. We’re tipping this to be a hot contender for the best countdown on the internet.

A website titled ‘When’s 50 50’ has recently appeared. It just so turns out that this countdown is about none other than New York rapper 50 Cent. The present 43-year-old ‘In Da Club’ hitmaker isn’t due to be 50 until 2025.

Thankfully, however, we’ve been blessed with the knowledge that, at the time of publishing, there are only 2274 more days until we can relish in the utter bliss that is 50 Cent’s 50th birthday.

A description on the site calls itself: “A comprehensive countdown until influential street rap icon 50 Cent turns 50. Time is being counted down accurately using the “Greenwich Mean Time” yardstick.”

The description continues, “Affectionately known as the bad boy of rap 50 cent [sic], for decades, has graced the charts with hit tracks such 2003s ‘Candy Shop’. Let’s count it down and celebrate our man 50’s 50th!”

50 Cent was reportedly fearing for his life earlier this year, when an American police officer instructed colleagues to “shoot [50 Cent] on sight.” The officer responsible allegedly maintained his status as a working police officer, keeping his badge and firearm.

In a now deleted statement posted to Instagram, the rapper stated, “I’m afraid for my life, I haven’t been able to sleep since I heard of this,”

‘The cops never notified me of the threat,” he wrote. “I’m closing all my business in New York. I may have to sue the city.”

Not long after his statement, it came out that 50 Cent and his crew had made threats to Emanuel Gonzales, the police officer, a short time prior. According to 50 Cent, Gonzales “shook down” the owner of a nightclub the rapper frequents.

But, really, we’ve got more important things to focus on, like 50 Cent’s 50th Birthday. Visit When’s 50 50 here to join the countdown.
