The Bennies and The Smith Street Band were both tearing around Europe right now as the Smithies knock over their headline tour, and on the Manchester leg over the weekend they gave fans a treat by teaming up to cover one of the all-time great Nirvana tracks, Nevermind‘s ‘Territorial Pissings’.

Bennies vocalist and bassist Craig Selak joined the Smith Street crew on stage for the cover, Music Feeds reports, which the latter usually tackle solo, and footage has emerged which you can watch below.

The Smith Street Band are of course no strangers to awesome collaborations and covers, working with local band Ceres on their recent record, and expressing a desire to cover King Gizzard on a round of triple j’s Like A Version.
