John Legend delivered a memorable surprise performance alongside the Jonas Brothers during their Los Angeles concert on Saturday night.

Legend joined the trio at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, as part of their 20th anniversary ‘Greetings From Your Hometown’ tour.

Nick Jonas introduced Legend to the enthusiastic crowd, referencing their shared history on The Voice. “We got to absorb just a tiny bit of his light, his artistry and his brilliance in those two years I did that show,” Jonas told the crowd. “Man, I can’t believe I’m about to say these words, but Los Angeles, please welcome to the show, our friend, your friend, Mr John Legend.”

The collaboration featured performances of Legend’s 2013 chart-topper “All of Me” as well as the Jonas Brothers’ 2019 song “I Believe”. The pairing demonstrated the natural chemistry between the artists, with Legend’s soulful vocals complementing the band’s pop-rock sound.

Throughout the ‘Greetings From Your Hometown’ tour, the Jonas Brothers have consistently surprised fans with collaborations. Their Dallas show featured Kelsea Ballerini performing her breakthrough single “Peter Pan” alongside the trio’s “Fly With Me”. The same evening saw Plain White T’s join them for their beloved acoustic anthem “Hey There Delilah”. Perhaps most significantly, the tour marked Fifth Harmony’s first live performance as a group since 2018.

Another Aussie act, Dean Lewis, joined them at a tour show earlier this year.

Sharing his excitement on social media, Lewis wrote about the collaboration:

“Incredible last 24 hours releasing a song with the @jonasbrothers in NYC. They are quite literally the nicest people I’ve ever met, and somehow so down to earth?! I’m so proud of this song, Joe DM’d me, I had this song idea that I really liked. I sent it to him, and we all worked on it together it made it special. When I got their vocals back I had goosebumps. The songs called “loved you better” and we are all excited for you to hear it. The response has genuinely been huge and I’m feeling so excited about this one! I only go by Dean Jonas now.”
