It’s great when amazing bands get together to create double billed tours like the ‘Split Ends’ 2012 tour with Boy In A Box and Kingswood.
Boy In A Box, have a new EP and have been getting huge raps of late for their catchy as hell single ‘On My Mind’ as well as their incendiary live shows. Already no strangers to big stages, Boy In A Box have toured alongside the likes of Birds Of Tokyo and Calling All Cars, as well as appearing at Falls Festival in its 2011 incarnation.
Kingswood. Fresh from the battlefield of This Epic Tour alongside Money For Rope, and winning the Triple J Unearthed slot and opening on the main stage at Splendour In The Grass, the four-piece are teeth-gnashingly ready to take on all comers with no quarter asked and none to be given. With more than a few recent wins under their collective belt including slabs of national airplay for their recent singles ‘Yeah Go Die’ and ‘Medusa’.
The bands have offered up some 3 x prize packs for the following shows:
23 August – Goodgod Small Club – Sydney (over 18 only)
6 September – Ed Castle – Adelaide – w/City Riots (over 18 only)
7 September – Ding Dong Lounge – Melbourne – w/ The Belltrades (over 18 only)
Each prizes pack includes 1 x double pass, 2 x Kingwood ‘Change Of Heart’ EP and 2 x Boy In A Box On My Mind EP.
