What’s your earliest memory of performing and who inspired you to start?
Probably when I was about 16 and me and a mate played at friends house party, mainly covers but we got some good feedback and free beer. I am lucky to have youngish parents and they had everything from Mowton, Cat Stevens to The Beatles and Jethro tull and I loved it all so I guess that started the inspiration.
Who/what are your main influences?
The Beatles are my main influence, though im not sure if I sound anything like them, but mainly bands from then, like The Small faces, The Stones, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Rodriquez, and today bands like BRMC, BJM, The Coral, Lovetones, and wine and women
What is your music the best soundtrack for?
Maybe you could put one of my tunes on ‘Midnight Cowboy’ so I can be on there with Harry Nilsson
‘Fess up. What records have you stolen from your parent’s record collection and why?
I don’t think ive stolen any, I did draw on my dads John lennon record as a child and haven’t been able to forget it…bad day

Falls Festival down at Lorne in 98’, I remember seeing You am I and Blondie, so I can keep my rider..you should have asked for the second….
How do you like your music?
On digital, CD, or vinyl (maybe even cassette)? Vinyl all the way, sound better and look better
Do you have any particular ritual before you go on stage, or even a lucky charm you take with you?
Just a few to steady the ship and on we go
If you could curate your own festival, where would it be, who would be on the bill, how many people would you let in and what features would it have ?
Good question, it would be on a big open bit of land, every drink available free and unlimited, clean toilets, with BRMC, BJM, The Coral, The Lovetones, Neil Young, Paul Weller, The Stone Roses, and Kasabian playing, and that would be night one of three…
