What’s your earliest memory of performing and who inspired you to start?

My first gig was when I was 10 in front of my parents with my little brother and sister performing to a spiderbait CD. They must of thought we were trippers making them sit through that shit! Im not too sure who inspired me to perform, maybe it was some past life experience that carried over.

What and where was the first gig you went to?

It was a Mr Juicy gig in the town I grew up in, Leongatha. Its weird, cause so many years on and the drummer from that band is now the drummer in Polo Club. Fate!

What is the most embarrassing record/CD in your collection?

Scissor Sisters

What’s on heavy rotation on your iPod right now?

Kendrick Lamar, Good music’s Cruel Summer & Clams Casino’s instrumental Mixtape.

Your live performances feature some pretty heavy drum bashing; have you ever had any accidental onstage mishaps?

Not too bad, mainly just broken sticks and sore hands. There was one show where I bashed the mic on the floor tom so hard that I dinted the fuck outta it, but shhhh keep that one on the low.

What is the best part about live music in Melbourne?

That there is lots of it, and all different types.

If you could choose one movie star to feature in one of your film clips, who would it be and what would they be doing?

Mark Wahlberg. He would be pretty much just reenacting all the good scenes from Boogie Nights.

What is the one instrument you would love to master?

Piano

How are your Polo skills?

Lets just say Prince Harry aint got shit on me!

What have you guys got planned for the summer ahead?
Lots of shows and writing. Really wanna tour again but well see how that plans out. We have a few trips to Sydney in the works. Oh and lots of NBA!

You guys are getting the party started Melbourne Cup eve at Ding Dong; What can we expect from you guys?
