After testing the waters with his debut single ‘Heart of Gold’, Rif Raf (Joel Rafidi) is now set to release his five track EP entitled Day 1 featuring the lead track Always Home. With already over 600,000 views on his youtube channel Always Home is set to keep the fans coming.
Rif Raf embarked on his musical path from the age of 10, learning to play an instrument (bass guitar) and forming his own bands, playing a myriad of music. Listening to all genres including Hip Hop and Rap, his influences came from the likes of Tupac, Jurassic 5, Eminem, Kanye West and many more artists whose words are their music. His passion for American hip hop became obsessive. As a tribute to the artists who influenced him he produced his very first mix-tape, creating his own statement in words and music.
Day 1, is available through MGM on Friday 8th March and was produced by Rif Raf and Steven Manovski , mixed by Daniel Antix (Ball Park Music, Radio Ink).
