After a truly adventurous 4 years, one of Melbourne’s most acclaimed psychedelic rock groups will be tuning in for the last time. Laura, James, Anthony and Kosta of Tehachapi invite past, present and future hyper- phonic space cadets to join them on the final day of journeying into the land of four seasons.

The last show will be held on The Evelyn’s Rooftop, joined by long-term sonic pals Matt Kelly (with his phenomenal strings section), Strangers From Now On and Amanita. This will be your last chance to immerse your self in the sweet water of Tehachapi.

Matt Kelly has spent years delving into various genres and sonic textures to refine and define his craft. From releasing a completely electronic debut EP with ARIA-award winning producer Chris Thompson (Hilltop Hoods/Augie March) to fronting countless national tours in troubadour, he has reinvented his sound in many forms.

This latest incarnation sees Matt using loops, a string quartet and his stark lyricism to draw you into a realm of romanticism and emotional honesty.

From drunken noise to quiet grace, Strangers From Now On rise and fall like few others. The young four-piece have a uniquely dramatic sound and confronting live show that has won them an audience of dedicated fans. Delicate drums dance with rotten guitars, all beneath a frantic poetry that can make you as uncomfortable as you are excited.

Amanita are resin smoking fare evaders. Oftwhile balbulous, they mithre ahead, and with goodly trowel in grasp are recording an album.
