With tickets for many of the You Am I shows across the country continuing to sell out, the band are pleased to confirm a new show in Darwin on Friday August 9th, two extra dates in Northern Queensland for Cairns on Saturday August 10th, and Mackay on Sunday August 11th, and a staggering 4th show for Melbourne at The Forum on Sunday July 7th. The band have also sold out the Brisbane Tivoli Theatre show on Thursday June 27th.
The response to this tour that will see You Am I present live performances of Hourly Daily and Hi Fi Way back-to-back in a lush theatre-styled extravaganza has been overwhelming.
Help You Am I celebrate 20 years of collective jams and join Tim Rogers, Andy Kent, Russell Hopkinson and 15-year-veteran ‘new guy’ David Lane for this tour of special treats to mark this anniversary year. Their first three albums, Sound As Ever, Hi Fi Way and Hourly Daily are being given the full reissue treatment.
Remastered Digital and CD versions will feature a ton of extra tracks including never-before-released live performances, Demos, alternate versions and B-sides. The CD will also feature expanded booklets with liner notes, historical information and unseen photos.
