In celebration of release of the new HTC One – Speaker TV is proud to present Live@HTC. The Live@HTC campaign brings to life a vast mix of live music gigs across Australia, showcasing a selection of internationally acclaimed home-grown talent. In line with the new HTC One’s strong focus on music, Loon Lake will headline one of HTC’s Live@ events in Melbourne.
Loon Lake started putting down scrappy demos with one foot in the garage and the other in the sunshine – tracks which were packed with indelible melodies and slacker-pop wit. Early demos Into The Office and the wild-eyed Easy Chairs scored props from the local blogosphere and radio tastemakers.
After releasing their debut EP ‘not just friends’ (featuring single ‘in the summer’) Loon Lake toured with Girls, Kaiser Chiefs, Cage The Elephant and sold out their own run of headline dates. They played revered local festivals Big Day Out, Groovin The Moo, Pyramid Rock Festival & Falls Festival.
