The Boy & Bear Australian Tour 2013 has announced the support acts hitting the road with the Sydney folk rock five-piece, while fan demand has seen the 16 Days Under The Southern Tour begin to sell out.
After tickets for the band’s first show in Melbourne has forced The Forum to put up Sold Out signs, the venue and band have decided to host a second Melbourne show at The Forum on Sunday, November 3rd.
The good news just keeps rolling with the announcement that joining Boy & Bear on their national jaunt will be stellar support in the shape of Sydney’s beautifully-resounding outfit Battleships and homegrown troubadour Dustin Tebbutt who has been gaining a lot of attention for his new single ‘The Breach’.
After eight months off the road and in the studio, 7000 bowls of pasta and four moderate cases of tennis elbow, Boy & Bear make their glorious return to stage; cramming into the tour van once again for an extensive run of shows. With new single ‘Southern Sun’ already casting rays across the nation, Boy & Bear will keep all corners of the country burning bright with capital city and regional shows across six of our states and territories.
When Boy & Bear take to the stage, the mass crowd transforms into intimate camaraderie, with each fan taking away their own piece from the humble congregation. It’s this innate ability that has seen the band sell-out a slew of shows at dramatic speeds, both at home and abroad. 16 Days Under A Southern Sun will be no different, giving fans the chance to witness Boy & Bear’s highly anticipated sophomore release Harlequin Dream in its intended setting before its release on Friday 16th August.
