Dublin band Little Green Cars landed in Australia in late July for a whirlwind tour – their first trip down under – playing Splendour In The Grass and sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne supporting Daughter. Mushroom.com was lucky enough to grab them for a Room Service session while they were here; we took them up to the Blackman penthouse where they gave us spine-tingling versions of My Love Took Me Down To The River To Silence Me and The John Wayne.
Room Service is mushroom.com’s flagship video series. Filmed at Art Series’ hotels – the Blackman, the Cullen and the Olsen – it features artists performing two stripped-back songs in an informal setting. Little Green Cars’ session is the third in the series, following The Rubens and British India.
