Fresh off the back of their mammoth “Hi Fi Daily Double” National tour, You Am I will return to a familiar stage of the Prince Bandroom (aka POW) to perform 2 special Cup Eve shows this coming November.
After a 5-year hiatus from these traditional Cup Eve shows, the band will perform back to back shows in Melbourne on Sunday November 3rd and Monday November 4th.
Two decades on from their first album release, You Am I have not only had one of the longest and most successful recording careers in Australia, but are also without doubt one of our most loved live bands. Aside from their touring exploits the band have had a busy 2013, with the recent simultaneous re-issue of their first three records, “Sound As Ever”, “Hi Fi Way” and “Hourly Daily” through Sony Music, and a first-time foray into the beverage world with the production of their own “Brew Am I” beer in conjunction with the Young Henry Brewery.
