Songs That Made Me unites four of Australia’s finest female singer/songwriters, Katie Noonan, Abby Dobson, Angie Hart and Martha Marlow, to share stories of their influences, artistic journeys and the landmark songs
that have sound-tracked their lives. Following a sell out preview season at Sydney venue Camelot last month, interest and demand has been so great that the girls could no longer resist the ‘lure of the road’!
Drawing from a list of artists ranging from Carole King, Jeff Buckley and Joni Mitchell to Fiona Apple, Nancy Sinatra, Tiddas and Kylie Minogue, these artists put a truly unique spin on some of the songs that have shaped their lives. The four singers share the stage for the entire show and collaborate naturally as they discuss and perform the songs, in a relaxed, intimate and spontaneous way.
Songs That Made Me is a live show in two parts, complete with interval. The four singers will be joined by a female rhythm section and will also perform with their own instruments. Join Katie, Abby, Angie and Martha in this candid look at their lives through music – it’s sure to be a breathtaking evening, a wonderful celebration of some of our finest women of song.
To celebrate, Tone Deaf are giving away a few double passes to the Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane shows. For your chance to win, please enter you details below. Good luck.
