Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks
Wig Out At Jagbags
Ambiguity has never waned for the absolute genius that is Stephen Malkmus and his band of Jicks.
It arrives with no surprise that the group’s sixth studio release is therefore entitled “Wig Out At Jagbags”.
A video for the first single from the record “Lariat” was released just over a week ago, hurling the Silver Jew/Pavement/Jicks fans into a blurred excitement.
The track is as infectiously hooky as any previous Malkmus profanity. The now Berlin native just really struggles to create shit music.
