A World’s End Press Australian Tour 2014 has been announced, following what’s been a very big year for the band.

World’s End Press released their critically acclaimed, and Australian Music Prize long-listed, self-titled debut LP, which also snagged Triple J’s feature album upon release, along with Album of the Week at both FBI and RRR.

They remixed tracks by Chvrches and Cloud Control. They toured with Hot Chip and Bloc Party, headed to the US for their own headline shows and dates with Cut Copy, and recently smashed their sold-out album launches in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. To top it all off they tore apart the Supernatural Amphitheatre at the Meredith Music Festival last week, with our own Tone Deaf reviewer popping his Meredith cherry with the band.

“World’s End Press’ set sent the crowd over the edge and into complete rave rapture; setting the mood for the rest of the weekend and a truly memorable moment that rightfully earned them my first ever Meredith boot,” he wrote.

“During the final soaring chorus of their new single, ‘Drag Me Home’, wrapped in a hug with four or so strangers, I think my ice cold heart officially thawed. So many feels.”

That same much-loved track has just been released as a single accompanied by a wild video directed by Melbourne’s Luci Schroder (watch below)

To celebrate their great year, the band will be hitting the road early in February 2014 for shows in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, before supporting Phoenix on their Australian tour in March. In addition, World’s End Press will play a variety of festivals over Summer – full details below. Tickets for the band’s new shows are now on sale.
