Megaharmony quartet STRINE SINGERS arrive in a groundswell of brooding guitars, soaring harmonies, and accomplished, widescreen songwriting. They’ve piqued the interest of Tom Waits and Lucinda Williams, simultaneously added their first single to indie radio and country music television, and found themselves at the crossroads of altcountry and pop. With their debut LP in the works, and a live show thats been described as “staggering” and “a warm embrace”, the hardworking siblings have some very real momentum right now.
Tuesday 28th January they will perform at the Toff in Town, accompanied by two of last years best country debuts: critically lauded Americana artist Dan Waters, and Melbourne live favourites Brooke Russell & the Mean Reds.
When: Tuesday 28 January 2014, 7:00pm
Where: The Toff in Town, 2/252 Swanston St Melbourne VIC 3000, Melbourne
Tickets: $10.00 On the Door
