FOMO is the latest single from the trio, lifted from the EP Slummer Time, to be released this May. This is the kind of release that can only be described with clichéd adjectives such as ‘vulgar’, ‘scuzzy’ and ‘tongue-in-cheeked’. To launch the single and music video, and EP release, 8 Bit Love hit the road to play some killer shows and killer parties with killer bands in some killer venues.
Much to the disappointment of Beat Magazine, 8 Bit Love haven’t cut lyrics from their repertoire. They’re no wordsmiths and they’re not trying to be. Perhaps that’s why they decided to start a dance-punk band who rates TV Rock as more of an influence than Bob Dylan.
