Warmth Crashes in are back 6 months after their debut EP, with the new single ‘All My friends Are Cooked’- the first single taken from their upcoming second EP Relentless Dreamtime.
Taking cues from acts such as Spiritualized, Death In Vegas, Brian Eno and Primal Scream, the trio don’t hold back. Weaving sequencers, samples and widescreen production into flowing song structures.
Rory Lampitt (Guitars/Vocals/Synth) and Erin Taylor (Drums/Samples) were two shoegaze kids thrust into the pounding bass of Berlin’s club scene, and in the dying breath of that hazy summer they formed Warmth Crashes In. Forging the epic beauty of Spiritualized with the grooves of The Chemical Brothers, they left with the city with a recording and a mission.
On their return to Melbourne they recruited Dan Myles (bass), then got straight on stage for a successful residency at The Tote. Together they developed a sound “like My Bloody Valentine covering the Top Gun soundtrack” (Tone Deaf).
To celebrate the band’s return Tone Deaf are giving away a double pass to the ‘All My friends Are Cooked’ single launch on Saturday June the 28th with support from Step Panther (SYD), ESC, Galaxy Folk and A Strange Day. Enter your details below to win!
