Liam Gallagher has made the name of his new post-Oasis four piece band public. Featuring all his ex-Oasis bandmates – Andy Bell, Gem Archer and Chris Sharrock – save for his brother Noel who stormed out last year, it’s been given the moniker Beady Eye. Not that Oasis was ever a brilliant name to begin with, nor can we expect some fantastic literary reference from a bloke who professes not to read books, but it’s a bit shit Liam… And not bad enough to be up there with the worst band names in history either.
