Oh man, poor old Iggy Azalea is having a pretty tough week.
First up, the chart-smashing rapper was bullied by legend of the game Snoop Dogg in a social media battle, which might we add, saw Snoop apologise for his actions, she then was caught on camera screaming at idiot paparazzo and now she’s involved in a fight with her Australian management division for selling an old image of her to Australia’s Maxim Magazine, as XXL report.
The news broke earlier this morning when the 24-year old took to her personal Twitter account to berate her Aussie label for allowing a photo of her shot in 2011 for a cover of another magazine, to be used on the front of Maxim Magazine.
This follows a recent incident in which the same team sold an image of the artist to Cosmopolitan without her consent.
A very pissed off Azaela Tweeted the following:
Im going to publicly say something to the australian division of my record label right now because my message seems to be ignored privately.

stop giving permission on my behalf for magazines to purchase images of me that have already been printed in major publications for covers.

and now this morning i see you’ve allowed maxim australia to buy an image from a 2011 complex mag shoot and put it on the cover.

i think its awesome anyone would want me on the cover of a magazine, but theres a right way to make that happen and the australian label

clearly aren’t respecting my wishes. a magazine cover deserves an accompanying photoshoot not a reused image.

We’re yet to see a comment back from Azalea’s label, but if we have learnt anything about the New South Wales-native this week, nobody fucks with Iggy and gets away with it.
