First turning heads with their Spiral Eyes EP last year, which yielded the widely acclaimed single ‘Waves’, Kalacoma have returned with a new collection of textured, left-of-field, groove-laden songs, which they’ve appropriately titled the Lost For Words EP.

With a sound that sits somewhere between Radiohead, Massive Attack, and Muse, these Melbourne natives have once again proved why they’re worthy of sharing stages with the likes of Hiatus Kaiyote, Closure in Moscow, playwrite, Ghost Orkid, and more.

The band are currently gearing up to appear on the main stage at the next Folk, Rhythm and Life Festival in December, but not before they launch their new EP with a special show at Melbourne’s beloved Evelyn Hotel. Readers can check below for all the details.

If you’re looking to experience one of the Melbourne underground’s most respected and critically acclaimed up-and-coming acts, do yourself a favour and check out Kalacoma’s sophomore EP below, which includes the band’s latest single, the jagged and frenetic ‘There For’.
