With Laneway Festival mere weeks away from taking over Aussie shores with its forever on-point lineup of massive talented musicians, the festival has sadly announced that one of the major artists, Lykke Li, has been forced to cancel all performances at 2015 Laneway Festival and scheduled sideshows.
Lykke says on the shock cancellation: “I’m incredibly sorry to announce that I’m no longer able to play in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore for Laneway Festival. It’s been a long time coming, but unfortunately tour life has caught up with me and it’s been recommended that I take a break. I’m devastated, but know I will return. Thank you for all the support, and I sincerely hope I can make it up to you at a later date.”
This is a major blow to both hopeful punters and fans, however there has been an artist that has stepped in to rescue the situation, Australia’s most exciting up and coming hiphopper, Tkay Maidza. The uniquely gifted and endlessly charismatic 18 year old rapper has been churning out consistently head-turning tracks since she emerged 18 months ago, but it is her irresistible latest single ‘Switch Lanes’ that assures her a bright future. Catch her party-starting set at Laneway before she dominates festival stages globally.

Lykke Li Sideshow Ticket Refund Details
Thursday 29 January
Forum Theatre, Melbourne
If you booked online or over the phone, Ticketmaster will send the funds back to the credit card used to purchase the tickets. It can take some time to process, so please allow up to 5 days to process your refund before you start to worry.
If your credit card info has changed or your original card has expired or is no longer valid (prepaid Visa and MasterCard included), you’ll need to get in touch with the Ticketmaster Customer Service Team via 136 100 between 9am – 8pm AEDT Monday to Saturday, or 9am – 5pm AEDT Sunday. Please contact Ticketmaster by 5pm on Wednesday 7 January 2015 and they’ll arrange a refund via cheque.
If you stopped into a Ticketmaster outlet to buy your tickets, you’ll need to swing by one more time with the tickets and credit card used to make the booking. The outlet staff will help you with your refund.
