After the unfortunate news that The Superjesus and Baby Animals had been removed from a highly anticipated A Day On The Green bill that also featured Cheap Trick, The Angels, and Choirboys to make room for Billy Idol, fans were left despondent and hungry for some pure, Australian, female-fronted rock.

Never fear, because two of the most acclaimed and powerful rock and roll entities in Australia have announced that they’re going their own way and hitting the road for a massive, seven-date tour, which will see two of the country’s most loved female-fronted rock bands hitting up venues around the country.

The tour is set to kick off in Baby Animals frontwoman Suze DeMarchi’s hometown of Perth on Friday, 22nd May, before powering on to Melbourne, Wollongong, Sydney, and Brisbane, followed by Superjesus frontlady Sarah McLeod’s hometown of Adelaide, with Sandy Bay, Tasmania the last pit stop on what’s been dubbed the She Who Rocks Tour.

DeMarchi and McLeod have been friends for years, but have never actually played the same bill before, so this has been a long time coming, with many fans eager to finally see two of Australia’s most dynamic and explosive frontwomen share the same stage to play through their biggest hits.
