Melbourne’s annual Moomba Festival is set to return this March and organisers have now announced their massive music program for this year’s event and once again they’ve delivered a stellar roster of local talent, including Aussie rock legends Jebediah, You Am I, and the Hoodoo Gurus.

Taking place over the Labor Day long weekend, Saturday, 7th March will see Jebediah hitting the stage at 8.30pm, while iconic rockers You Am I will be rocking crowds at 8.30pm on Sunday, 8th March. Finally, ARIA Hall of Fame inductees the Hoodoo Gurus will perform their classic hits from 8.30pm on Monday, 9th March.

Meanwhile, free performances will be running from 12.30pm to 9.30pm on the Main Stage each day throughout the long weekend, including sets from brass ‘n beats five-piece The Brow, Triple J Unearthed winners The John Steel Singers, and dynamic Melbourne five-piece Perch Creek.

2015 will also see the introduction of a brand new precinct to the Moomba grounds, The Green, which will be home to what’s been dubbed the Push Stage. A diverse array of up-and-coming local talent will be competing in the FReeZA Push Start Battle of the Bands on Saturday, 7th March from 1.00pm, followed by performances from Japanese Wallpaper, Yeo, Tully on Tully, and Stax Osset.
