The ladies of HAIM have been lending their talents to a few artists of late, one need only look at their work with Scarlett Johansson’s new band or of course, the massive Calvin Harris banger, the girls are hot property, and the latest muso to enlist the sisters is Anthony Gonzalez of M83.
Gonzalez invited the trio into the studio for the track ‘Holes In The Sky’ a track written for the forthcoming film Insurgent, and it’s an orchestral piece of mythical wonder sonically pertaining to the slow-building electro dreamscape that M83 is famed for.
Speaking to MTV on the collab, HAIM spoke of Gonzalez, “We’ve been fans of Anthony Gonzalez and M83 for a long long time so when he reached out to have us sing on the song we were ecstatic, we had the best time in the studio with him, it all happened so fast and was so easy and natural. We are so excited to be a part of this movie.”
