Beatle Paul McCartney, also a notable campaigner for vegetarianism and healthy eating, has craked it at a branch of McDonalds in his hometown of Liverpool. McCartney lodged a complaint with McDonalds UK management after discovering that the chain’s Sefton Street branch had placed photos of The Beatles over the walls of the restaurant. Not wanting his band associated with such a ‘renowned’ meat-eating establishment, Macca’s complaints saw to it that bosses at the fast food joint were forced to remove the offending photos.
