It’s Monday and we all need a healthy dosage of lols to kickstart the week, and none come finer than footage of a disgruntled man storming the stage of an Aussie fashion show, hollering because it’s too dang loud.
Held at Sydney’s Carriageworks in Eveleigh, Aussie designer Kym Ellery almost come face-to-face with a furious man who demanded the noise be turned down at the event as it was apparently “way too loud”, as Pedestrian (via 9 News) reports.
The brilliant video sees the Perth designer charge down the runway to a sea of applause after a successful opening of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week when a man somehow squeezed his way to the front of the crowd and onto the runway, shaking his finger in protest and yelling to her “you have no respect for the local community, the noise is way too loud, this is a disgrace.”
The renown designer barely noticed what was happening as she lapped-up the resounding cheers in the hangar-like venue, all the while papa grump was taken away from security in a very calm fashion.
We’re sure there’s plenty of older folk who may slap Katy Perry’s ‘Firework’ as disrespectful, especially when pumped at such a level, however to bust onto a catwalk in protest shakin’ a finger in the most stereotypical “you rotten kids, get off my lawn” kind of manner is too perfect, and considering that it was only 7:45pm when all the drama went down, this is certainly one noise complaint that won’t be closing a venue and event any time soon.
