Hobart rockers Chase City have today dropped the brand new video for their single ‘Scarlet Skies’, and to celebrate the release of this latest offering Chase City will hit the road on an east coast tour kicking off in May through to July including two Hobart hometown shows supporting Melbourne based indie rock legends British India.

The Inspiration for Scarlet Skies came during Chase City‘s national tour earlier this year when the band crammed into a van with a bunch of mates and travelled alongside some of Australia’s best coastline views.

The single is a blissful 2 minute and 40 second blend of indie rock and summer pop that takes no time setting up with it’s colourful arrangement of steel drums and jangly guitar riffs, finished off with the melodic peak of it’s hook driven chorus. Recored at Studios 301 in Byron Bay and produced by none other than Lachlan ‘Magoo’ Goold (Regurgitator, Saskwatch, The Jungle Giants) Chase City yet again deliver a certified earworm.

They’ll also be hitting the road on their own national tour, for dates and info visit Chase City’s Facebook page.
