We’ve been waiting very patiently for our favourite Canadian goofball to release new tunes, and at long-last Maccy-boy has delivered.

Introducing the very track from DeMarco’s forthcoming EP Another One, the shining ‘The Way You’d Love Her’.

The tune sees the 25 year-old plunge even deeper into his own sonic pool of jangle and lo-fi, producing a very DeMarco tune, his sugar-sweet ciggie drawl (as always) fantasising about how much one loves a lady.

Instrumentally, the song feels like just about anything off his breakthrough album, Salad Days, the chorus almost a duplicate of ‘Let Her Go’ with soft basic percussion and the looped licks – but that’s not a putdown, it’s this simplicity and unique Mac flavour that we’ve all fallen in love with, so why change something if it ain’t broke?

The fresh tune falls from DeMarco’s next release, Another One, which sports 8 tracks and drops Friday 7 August.
