For those uninitiated, talented songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Nicky Sandover emerged in 2014 from the coastal scene surrounding Perth, Western Australia to immediate acclaim and attention from across the country – and with the release of her new single ‘Made of Glass’ it’s clear why.
Drawing inspiration from disparate influences ranging from the moody nature of blues to the insatiable bounce of reggae, Sandover writes songs that display a thoughtful approach to creating music.
Her lyrics are equally intricate, exhibiting emotion and maturity, relentlessness and understanding.
