Caroline Australia is the label services arm of Universal Music, established just over two years ago to partner with independent artists and labels both locally and internationally. They’re on the look out for a Promotions Manager, who will have the responsibility of driving all aspects of promotional campaigns for artists via their label relationships including Fiction, Loma Vista, Communion, Spunk, Concord, Wolftone, Spinefarm, PMR and more.

The artists you’ll be working with include St. Vincent, Glass Animals, Highasakite, Joanna Newsom, Mac DeMarco, Catfish and The Bottlemen, Laura Marling, Ghost, The Maccabees and more. The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in the music industry, and a proven track record in working on both the publicity and promotions aspects of indie music releases. This position is based in Universal Music Australia’s Sydney head office.

Events Manager At Beach Road Bondi

One of Sydney’s exciting live music venues Beach Road Bondi are after a new manager. This casual ( approx 30 hours per week) role will focus on the upstairs bars of the venue. they host live music three nights – with functions and events on other days most weeks. This role will focus on our Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights with a focus on artist liaison, sound and lighting, venue set up and pack down, bar service and cocktails, general floor management.

You will also be the point of contact for Sound Tech, Music Agencies, Promoters and Management. the ideal candidate would ideally have a solid knowledge of music and entertainment, have a solid knowledge of cocktails and beverage service, be an all round legend and be able to lead a team.
