Melbourne’s ever-evolving rock trio All The Colours recently unveiled their eagerly anticipated sophomore album, titled Vol. 2, which was recorded over the course of one week at the legendary Rancho De La Luna in Joshua Tree, California.

The studio itself, located in the heart of the Californian desert, has seen artists such as Queens Of The Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, and Foo Fighters record some of their most timeless, critically acclaimed, and hallowed albums there.

The result for All The Colours is a desert-influenced collection of songs and jams with the emphasis on capturing the sound of one moment in time, not fixating on perfection, but bringing out the emotions and energy the environment inspired.

We recently caught up with the All The Colours boys, who took us behind the scenes of recording at Rancho De La Luna, sharing some of the memorable times they had there.
