The 2015 West Australian Music Conference and Festival is quickly coming together and has already added a huge stack of quality speakers, industry professionals, and performing acts to its annual lineup.

As we previously reported, this year will see WAM raising the stakes even further and offering attendees unprecedented value, along with a host of fascinating talks from speakers including Spotify’s Andy Vincent, triple j’s Dave Ruby Howe, and Double J’s Jacinta Parsons.

Thanks to the support of the Perth Theatre Trust, this year’s WAM Conference will be held at the State Theatre Centre of WA, utilising state of the art facilities in The Studio Underground, Foyer, and additional rooms.

It will be the perfect environment for audiences to engage with the all-star cast of some 40+ leading music industry professionals from Australia and beyond, who’ll be the subjects of captivating panel sessions, one-on-one meetings, and networking sessions.

Meanwhile, WAM is expanding to take in a whole new night of live music programming with WAM Festival Friday Showcases plus Sunday Best debuting in Fremantle for a free multi-stage extravaganza and this year will also see the return of the Saturday Spectacular.

This year’s Saturday Spectacular is set to be the best one yet, with Northbridge’s finest live music venues coming to life and throwing open their doors to the public to host FREE ENTRY showcases from midday to 2am.

The majority of WAM Festival shows will be free and all are free for WAM Music Conference ticket holders. Second release tickets will run till 5pm Thursday, 5th November at $180+BF for WAM members and $220+BF for non-members. Check the WAM website for the full program.
