If you missed the big announcement, St Jerome’s Laneway Festival is set to return next year complete with a traditionally massive lineup. But if you’re looking to double-dip or can’t make it to Laneway ’16, organisers have now announced official sideshows.
Leading today’s announcements are Scottish synth-pop trio CHVRCHES, who have shows set for Melbourne and Sydney. They’ll be hot on the heels of their latest acclaimed studio effort, Every Open Eye, but we’re sure they’ll be bringing all of those fan favourites.
There’s also headline dates from Purity Ring, who’ll be performing alongside Canadian duo Majical Cloudz, who by the way, have their own sideshow set for Sydney. If you’re looking for a little neo-soul action, The Internet have you covered.
Meanwhile, those looking for some classic singer-songwriting chops can get one-on-one with Tobias Jesso Jr or if you want to burn up the dance floor, genre-bending rhyme-slinger Shamir will be touching down in Australia direct from Las Vegas.
