We’re super excited to be sharing with you the latest in the RTRFM’s ‘The View From Here’ series, where talented local artists are filmed performing live for RTRFM. This clip, now edition number 11 in the series, features Perth producer and Tone Deaf favourite Catlips.
Having just dropped her new acid house single ‘Silver Smoke’ (out now via Pilerats Records) Catlips aka Katie Campbell joined the RTRFM crew in the lush courtyard of Northbridge venue The Bird for a special, very ‘summer’ episode.
Captured by local filmmaker, animator and producer Sam Price and produced by RTRFM, the series was recently nominated for Excellence in Digital Media in the 2015 Community Broadcasting Association of Australia’s Community Radio Awards.
The View From Here short film series launched in November 2014 with support from the Department of Culture and the Arts, and aims to showcase the wellspring of talent in Western Australia’s music scene, across a variety of genres and locations.
