Having enjoyed an absolutely stellar 2015, it’s only right that one of Australia’s most beloved young rock upstarts, The Delta Riggs, are ending the year by embarking on a tour they’ve dubbed the Summer in Space Tour.
This string of shows, which will take them to venues around the country, will comprise the band’s final appearances on a live stage before they begin work on their eagerly anticipated third album.
Joining the band for their summer in space will be co-pilots The Belligerents and Wild Honey. Meanwhile, Tassie favourites The Violet Swells will be stepping up for the band’s Hobart and Launceston shows.
Best of all, the band are at the peak of their powers as a live unit, having spent the past 12 months gigging heavily, whether opening for Foo Fighters at stadiums around the country or supporting local legends You Am I.
