After giving their lineup a big old injection of classic blues, the organisers of Byron Bay Bluesfest 2016 have decided now is as good a time as any to go ahead and drop another raft of awesome sideshow dates.
Things on the sideshows front got off to a very promising start back in October, with the announcement of headline dates from the likes of Sturgill Simpson, Steve Earle & The Dukes, The Selecter, and The Wailers.
Now, organisers have unveiled dates from the one and only D’Angelo. The neo-soul icon made his first trip to Australia late last year for Soulfest and now he’s coming back for shows in Melbourne and Sydney.
There’s also an extensive round of dates from legendary American singer-songwriter Don McLean, as well as some eagerly anticipated performances from The Blind Boys Of Alabama and Blackberry Smoke.
