After basically redefining what it means to have a breakthrough year in 2014, Peking Duk have capitalised in 2015 by embarking on countless international tours, more unforgettable spots at Splendour In The Grass and Stereosonic, and releasing another mega-banger.
The duo’s tandem singles ‘High’ and ‘Take Me Over’ were absolutely inescapable last year and both ended up making it into the top five of the triple j Hottest 100 countdown. They followed it up this year with the barn-burning ‘Say My Name’.
The foot-stomping, ‘We Will Rock You’-esque anthem with vocals from fellow Canberran Benjamin Joseph of SAFIA has elevated Peking Duk to even greater heights than they achieved last year and you can see it in the pair’s insane new Colombian tour video.
The clip opens with Adam Hyde explaining the duo’s eclectic approach to music before launching head-first into some crazy party scenes and the boys getting up to all sorts of mischief, all set to the sounds of The Stooges’ ‘I Wanna Be Your Dog’.
