More than 10 years ago, in a shed behind his mother’s house, Florida based singer songwriter Ben Cooper AKA Radical Face, started an unprecedented musical journey which he will finish with the upcoming LP.

The journey is the story of a fictitious, and sometimes otherworldly 19th century family is brought to life in a three-part album series called The Family Tree. Highly conceptual certain instrumentations and melodies are used to represent various “family members” and each album was recorded using only the instrumentation available during the era represented. 10 years in the making, this music journey has seen the release of The Family Tree: The Roots (released 2011) and The Family Tree: The Branches (released 2013).

Radical Face is today unveiling the first cut from the forthcoming final instalment of this third and final instalment. Titled ‘The Road To Nowhere’ the track is a haunting musical piece led by a confronting string section, driven by a heavy drumbeat and emotive vocal delivery.

The upcoming album The Family Tree: The Leaves will be out on March 25th. For more info visit Radical Face’s Facebook page.
