Purveyors of dark post-punk, Plague Vendor are gearing up to unleash their frantic new effort Bloodsweat, the band’s sophomore album and their most powerful and menacing work yet.

Set for release March 25th via Epitaph, Whittier, CA band’s debut album Free to Eat, which saw the guys garner accolades worldwide thanks to their ability to hook you in while tearing your eardrums to absolute shreds.

Bloodsweat was co-produced with Stuart Sikes and mixed by Alan Moulder. During the recording process the band aimed to capture each track in as few takes as possible, translating their sound on stage to record, avoiding many overdubs and embracing the same minimal production they bring to their live performances.

It’s an artistic evolution since the band’s debut, but the guys have still managed to bottle the frantic energy that has made them such a well-loved outfit. Check out the record below and for more info or to pre-order visit plaguevendor.com.
