As we’ve previously covered at Tone Deaf, Australia has more than its fair share of music secrets. Whether it’s invite-only music festivals, underground record stores, or pop-up venues, we’re spoilt for choice.
The latest addition to the dark web of Australian music is Frón Voyáge, which comes to us from the organisers behind the similarly secretive Camp Doogs, and is set to celebrate the end of summer and the beginning of a new season.
Best of all, the lineup is actually sick. The roster features appearances from a list of names that definitely aren’t secret, including Magic Touch, Lower Plenty, Nick Allbrook, Catlips, Rabbit Island, Peter Bibby, and many more.
Interestingly, organisers are only offering carpooling tickets due to the limited car space at their site, which is somewhere in Nannup, WA (that’s all we know). Tickets are available for two and five-person carpools.
Organisers are promising punters will experience “a lil weekender get away for you and your #self, to reunite your mind grapes with your heart emojis, shake of the grind and grime, shine bright like a diamond, transform”.
