Local indie rockers Human Buoy (aka Ben McDonald’s latest solo project) are kicking off the week with the premiere of their killer new single ‘Period Of Maximum Excitability’ the latest taste from the band’s debut album ‘Animation Station’.

According to the band, the single was written “in Amsterdam after watching a documentary about the collective conscious of the world and how the sun’s activity seems to freakishly mirror that of the population’s behaviour. It’s during the solar cycle known as the ‘period of maximum excitability’ where pivotal events such as world wars and revolutions most occur.”

The single is making us super eager for the upcoming release of Animation Station which features guest appearances by Ariel Pink, Nick Allbrook (Pond) Ben Smith (Blud) and Shiny Joe Ryan. For more info on the band pop by the Human Buoy Facebook page.
