After forming in 2014, Melbourne indie rock kids Slim Jeffries are kicking it into overdrive with their brand new single ‘Feel The Freak’ which they’re debuting today.
‘Feel The Freak’ is a fascinating release from the four piece, starting off like a woozy guitar pop gem before being torn apart by an explosive heavy rock guitar riff and blood curdling wails. As the track winds its way through styles, moods, ideas and influences, a conflicted narrative of self doubt, angst, and frustration ultimately unravels to cathartic effect.
Having cut their teeth and won over fans gigging relentlessly across Melbourne’s pub scene, they’re ready to bring it in 2016 starting off with a single launch show on Thursday April 21st at the Evelyn Hotel.
