Aussie favourites The Paper Kites have just unveiled their most shimmering and gorgeous video yet for ‘Renegade’, the latest cut to be taken from their similarly gorgeous and shimmer album, twelvefour.
To celebrate the release of the Dan Huiting-directed video, the band will embark on another run of Australian tour dates, set to kick off this June in Sydney, before making its way around the country.
‘Renegade’ is the final part in the band’s Midnight video trilogy, which includes the clips for ‘Electric Indigo’ and ‘Revelator Eyes’, all dreamy stories that take place between the hours of 12 and 4am.
The band’s upcoming Midnight Tour is a similarly theatrical affair. “We perform the music and behind us are a group of apartment windows. Through the windows, a series of stories play out in the lives of different people,” explains frontman Sam Bentley.
